This has been the price on Amazon for over a month but the price is double or more from other places. Seems like a good deal but don't know about the quality.

It works fine, not that loud, but the hose could be longer and the carry bag is too small.

Not having to drag around the 12v wire is worth it though.

Its a power tool battery 5x18650 and those cost this much alone so the tool is basically free.

The alternative is 2x more at minimum. You can buy the ryobi for 100 https://a.co/d/4zGG403 because it has a better ecosystem, but so what. This is the price of wired inflator but it is cordless, and makes the chore of maintaining your tires less of a pain, even if single task its worth it. As for the brand, sun Joe has been around for a while and based on their value king position I don't see them going away anytime soon.

trust me I probably own more tools than anyone on this forum and I can attest to the following never ever buy into a system that's new or hasn't been around for 10 years. chances are they are gonna fold. this sun Jose thing might look really enticing but what happens when your battery goes south?. or your charger craps out then what?.

I gotta jump on slammazon and buy another one at what ever scalping price. and wait for it to arrive vs go to the home repo or blowes and pick something up.

It's kind of like that dude clint from TRZ said don't buy cheap tools. ryobi 18v inflator is literally 20 bucks!

lasty whats up with your URL shortener in the post?.why not just put amazon.com/Prouct?

Its not buying into a system. It's cheap enough to not care if one uses the battery in anything else ever.

Sun Joe is a sub brand of snow joe and just designs things for the Chinese factories that likely make the brands you do like. I have their other tools from pole saws to Chainsaws but corded, the quality is OK for the price.

Amazon now uses shortners atleast on mobile when share copy link is used.

Your concerns are just odd, inflators tend to fail within a few years regardless. If you are "what if" something like this you can't afford a car. I mean seriously what if your phone battery wears out? These things are consumables regardless.

The ryobi is NOT 20 bux, that is scratch and dent WITHOUT a battery and charger. (The expensive part) here it is for 100 Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ Power Inflator Kit https://a.co/d/duuka4j

I own 3 so your point is?. if my phone battery dies hmm never happened but if it did id go the sun joe route and get a new phone / model. haven't seen any of the beater ryobi inflators go south except for one I let bake in the sun when in el paso tx that 110 degree heat will fark your stuff up

Clearly you are just being obtuse at this point.

How much is that p373d once you add a battery and charger?

Cool story bro. Anyway, bought one and it got delivered today. I'll test it out and report back. Really tired of having to get out the 12v car jumper batter pack to air up a bike tire for the kids.

At this price it's disposable. I'm not making my living off the thing, I am airing up soccer balls.

And it died first time out lol. Pumped up two car tires (36 and 39 psi), two small tires for a rolling tool stand (tiny and only 30psi). Then I tried it on my small trailer tires, I think they are 12" tires, 90psi. I got through one tire, on the second and I heard a small "pop" at about 70 psi and it started to lose air. Something inside the body of the pump failed, I think it was the front hose connection.

It's loud and slow, but honestly I really liked it for the 20 minutes it worked. What a value too. However, not sure it's trustworthy past the Amazon 30 day return window in any capacity. Luckily it's not even possible to exchange, return only from Amazon.

TLDR - pass on this one for anything other than bike tires, and even then I'm not so sure.

Your statement "I really liked it for the 20 minutes it worked" begs the question: how long did you let it cool down between tires? Inflators tend to require a cool down after a heavy duty cycle, otherwise the internals overheat and fracture.
