Weather techs are easily in the $100 range.

Tempting, but in climates with rain, snow and mud, fitted/custom WeatherTech is the only way to go for protection. If they don't change the cab design, WeatherTech will fit the next truck, or easily sold for half or more.
Fitted Husky and Gator mats with sides are good mats, but custom WeatherTech is hard to beat... and they know it by the price.

I bought some Members Mark trim to fit for my RAV 4 while spending time at my house in the mountains of Colorado. I know WT are superior and there is a reason they cost what they cost, but my MM mats have been terrific and they have seen a LOT of snow and mud. I'm 3 miles from the paved road and I'm in and out frequently. I don't know the quality of these specific mats, but I can say the MM versions are very good and they go for $20. My RAV isn't the most rugged of vehicles but it sees more mud and snow in a month when I'm up there than the F150 pavement princesses my neighbors own see in a lifetime.
The main thing for me is in and out of the truck all day long, for whatever mat to collect the melted crap... and I like the side protection where shoes invariably rest against. There are so many brands out there, I don't know them all, but if they will contain water and mud without running under the seat or off to the door, they would probably be fine.
I have spent quite a bit of time in Colorado with family and actually lived there for over a year. It all depends where, because I have been in a blizzard in the morning outside of Denver and the sun will be out in the afternoon and melt most of it. And then southwest about 50 miles in the valley and you are going to need a snowmobile to get out much of the winter. Colorado can be an odd place for weather, but I do prefer the mountains.
It all boils down to what you or anyone likes and wants to spend. I just want to keep moisture out of the carpet and away from the electronics under the seat that today, includes the data box that records the last 30 seconds of driving conditions on most vehicles. I know some guys that order carpet delete when they purchase a truck.
so if you're doing heavy duty work these aren't for you and you probably already know that

I'd rather get fitted mats, WeatherTech are way too expensive and I found similar fit with the Omac mats
German company
great fit
not weather tech level but definitely great value for cost

thanks me later

My 6 year old weather tech has holes in it on the driver's side from wear. I wonder if these will last that long
I see way more complaints about WT than compliments, so not sure why they're the most popular. WT spends a ton of money on advertising, and they have to charge a lot to pay for that.
People seem to like 3D MAXpider a lot more than WT as well.
