VIZIO M-Series 5.1.2 Sound Bar and Home Theater Sound System with Dolby Atmos and DTSX Black (M512A-H6) $349.99 + Free Shipping at GameStop.com [gamestop.com]
I already own one of these setups and was looking for another. Quite frankly, it's the highest quality 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos setup you can buy at this low of a price point. The sound bar includes two upfiring speakers that bounce off the ceiling to mimic ceiling speakers. It's usually $499.99 retail but it periodically dips down to this price. I went ahead and purchased it from GameStop even though I realize they are oftentimes a nightmare with online purchases and potentially having to deal with returns but I had a $50 GameStop gift card lying around and I am also a PowerUp Rewards Pro member so I will receive rewards points back as well. I ended up getting it for $321.86 shipped after applying my gift card, along with whatever amount of rewards points I receive in a few days.
But I'm sure all of you will be able to wisely price-match this deal at
Best Buy where this it's currently priced at $499.99 [bestbuy.com], as long as it stays in stock at GameStop and you act fast!
The reviews are pretty good, just in case you don't believe me. However, if you are expecting a Samsung 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos experience, you will probably be disappointed, but you won't be spending $1,000+ on this setup as you would on a similar Samsung setup.

I have a smart plug dedicated for my current 5.1.4 soundbar with the rear upfiring and use Alexa with a custom command that reboots power to the sound bar with a 1 minute wait. This morning, I had to have Alexa reboot the unit 3 times until it finally started playing sound out of the actual soundbar (and not the TV or no sound from either).
I've tried everything including loading the latest firmware from Vizio via USB. It's just garbage eARC implementation as confirmed by the fact that I never have these issues on my Sonos set on same TV.
When it works, it sounds great for my smaller space. But I can't recommend it if you value your time and money

Had a pretty old 5.1 system from them that had all sorts of connection issues with the wireless sub and rears. The last straw was when it just wouldn't cooperate with a new TV.
This new one sounds great. Only issue is that twice the sub and rears just didn't turn on but once they're on, they're not constantly going out like my old one.
Lastly, the up-firing speakers add depth that you'll miss if you turn them off but they don't sound like speakers mounted in your ceiling.

Meanwhile, this model is solid. I already own one and it is really nice.

Same. They sound good enough, but the constant connectivity issues (and then never connected again) made me never want to buy another Vizio speaker again, and I won't.
