Normal price isn't $2099. Normal price is $1596.99 (minus warranty) for weeks, so if you're saying the warranty costs $502.01 dollars than this is not a good deal! Just buy it on Amazon. It comes down to $1499 on Amazon here and there. 4 year warranty on Amazon is about $170. 😂

This TV has been $1450-1600 with Costco warranty for the last few weeks

Most recently $1450 with the warranty.

Ill buy from BuyDig/NewEgg if the price is $300-500 cheaper but Best Buy / Costco is a much better experience for TV purchasing, delivery, returns than the aforementioned sites

Also people are jumping up and down like the LG C1 is the be all, end all TV.

If you dont play games more than half of the time you use the TV this isnt even the set you want, you want the Sony A80J which is hovering around the same price but $100-200 more (A80J was $100-200 more at all retailers on Black Friday as well)

A80J is night and day difference with color reproduction, no expensive professional calibration required out of box, much better motion handling than the C1, and far better upscaling of older content that isnt 4K. Oh yeh, and it plays games as well as the LG C1 esp if you are on PS5 and not PC/Series X.

Thanks for the input. Any suggestions on where to look for this Sony deal? I have been lurking OLED TV deals for months and rarely found a Sony deal.

Where is the A80j only 100-200 more? It's currently priced at 2k.

I just unboxed and installed the Sony A80j yesterday which I purchased from Amazon from their prime lightning deal for 1487$. Had ordered from Costco the C1 for 1599$ which I returned. Cannot compare the C1 and A1 as I dint open the C1. So far the Sony Bravia OLED looks good. Sony only has 1 year warranty the Costco C1 had 3 additional Allstate free . Should be ok as the Costco credit card I used to purchase the Sony has one additional year of warranty on top of manufacturers. Confirmed by calling Citi benefits team. Mine is a regular TV usage no games hence the decision to keep Sony. The LG box from outside was better though 😎

65 A80J has been in and out of stock at several places (Amazon, Sony, Costco, Best Buy, etc.) for $1400 the past month or two. If you want it you need to really keep your eye on stock because it does not last long at that price if there is even any stock left. Retailers are stocked on the newer A80K now so A80J is truly on its last legs if you even find it.

Amazon had the 65" A80J for $1400 during Prime Day on July 13th. They also had the 77" A80J for $2,400. They still have both in stock, but have cranked the prices up.

Monitor Amazon for price drops. I haven't been to my local Costcos to see what in store inventory is like, but their website says that they're out of stock for delivery to my zip code.

My 65" and 77" A80J's will be delivered by Amazon tomorrow. Replacing a 65" LCD and 65" Panasonic plasma. I'm excited!

Search Slickdeals would be your best bet set an alert or manually search the home page / search bar a few times a day

Exactly.

It's been on the front page multiple times and depending on retailer lasts at least 24 hours.

You wont be seeing much more of a discount than this considering the 55" A80J was selling for $1400 on Black Friday and now you can get the 65" for the same price.

Do you have a certain tool for monitoring Amazon price drops?

Bought this last week in store at local Costco, 1450$ no tax, 5 years warranty, plus 100$ stream credit.
