Thank you! I needed a second printer for my office and picked up the 2340DW, which is what I currently have.

I checked my Amazon history: I purchased my first one in September 2016 - refurbished - for $65.99+tax

It's still going strong, Airprints, accepts 3rd party toners (don't do the firmware updates!! Lol), does double sided printing when needed… I just love it. Best printer ever!! I'm more than happy to pay the 2022 price of $94.99

Used PayPal/Discover for 5% cb.

It should serve you well for many years. Brother laser owners are always raving about how reliable these printers are over the long haul. The 2340 has a nice feature set for less than $100, and takes the non-chipped TN630/TN660 toner cartridges. Generics are dirt cheap and generally high quality. Please come back and comment with your first impressions after you receive and unbox this printer, if you wish.

i have a monochrome one from a very long time ago, but considering getting a color

how does toner work for the color printers? do i have to get one combined toner, or several diff color ones? is there a cheaper generic brand?

The 2340 is 27PPM; 2370 is 36PPM print speed. If you do a lot of printing it may be worth the extra $35, but for my money the 2340 is the better deal.

Can't get through check-out. Keeps spinning on Payment tab..

EDIT: It did eventuall. Had to go into incognito and start from the top. Got 1x RHLL2320D and 2x RHLL2340DW

Brother's site is notoriously glitchy, and might take several tries to get your order in. They recently did some website improvements, so maybe we will see better from them soon as far as their website user experience.

Brother laser printers are bulletproof. In part probably bc no matter what model they basically all look identical so they probably worked the kinks out a long time ago =D. Have an older mono MFC from them that's 10+ years old and never had to replace anything but the toner. Also plenty of third party cheap toner available.
