When will Energizer switch to the much preferred USB-C charging interface. It's only been available since 2014.

After my first purchase of this head lamp I was so impressed I bought another! My favorite headlamp! Nitecore's similar version is $80! Comes with a 18650 rechargeable battery and (2) 123A lithium batteries! I use the 18650 since most of my flashlights use this same battery platform. In summary, great headlamp with lots of light output.

Yah but they likely bought 200million of the older style or something and need to use them up. Besides, for stuff that's not getting charged every day it doesn't really matter.

Energizer has really stepped up their flashlight game the last couple years, The lithium based lanterns are amazing for their sale price, even fine at full price.

The headlamp is great as a head lamp and a regular flashlight. Very bright and at a small size. Strongly recommend it.

As I have gotten older having to walk across the home to the garage or vice versa isn't as easy and care free as it used to be so many times if I find a tool that I really like I purchase two of them ie one for inside the home (maybe to check the mail at night) and one for the garage!…lol

Speaking of checking the mail, I was walking to the mailbox mid street a couple of weeks ago on the sidewalk and there was a Dad and his two younger daughters walking on the sidewalk towards me. The man grabbed both his kids and pulled them off the sidewalk onto an driveway perpendicular to the sidewalk and waited for me to catch up to them. I wasn't sure why so I kindly said hello while passing them on route to the mailbox and he laughed and said he thought I was riding a bike because of the high output light from a distance…lol

I have been using the headlamp that I got from a deal a few years ago. Amazing light to work on the car. Is my to go flashlight whenever one is needed, always by the main door in the house. Recommended+++ battery last a long time. Can be used with the rechargeable battery (which is replaceable if needed) or it can run in regular battery is the rechargeable runs out of power.

This light is awesome. I use it for so many tasks I wouldn't usually use a flashlight for such as taking out the garbage, PC building and even painting. I've found I get much better results cutting in a ceiling wearing one of these.

I use those magnetic Chinese chargers that have adapters for micro USB, lightning, etc. They don't fast charge but every cord in my house works for all my devices. Even have adapters for my rechargeable flashlights.

Also great for mom since she ruined the jacks on two phones jamming the plug in because she can not see well.
