Boostmobile is the most unethical telecom company in history. They are simply awful.

At least tin cans and string can't charge you without your consent. Better off going with a set than going with these ….. plus you can cancel without jumping through hoops!

True or false, a typical consumer would understand a mobile plan ad that advertises "Unlimited Everything" to mean that it would be an unlimited data plan.

True or false, a typical consumer would understand a mobile plan ad that advertises "Unlimited Everything" to mean that the consumer could use that unlimited data however they want?

This isn't really something that reasonable people could debate. "Unlimited Everything" obviously means unlimited data, and "Unlimited Everything" obviously means there are no limits on how the customer can use their supposedly unlimited data. Had I been like, "Hey, you said 'Unlimited Everything', yet you don't include unlimited international roaming! False advertising!", you could have objected and said that I'm asking too much from a $25/mo promo plan.

Nobody would understand a mobile ad for "Unlimited Everything" to mean unlimited hookers or blackjack or kitchen sinks. You have no reason to to mock me here, other than that this is the Internet and we all know how some people behave on the Internet.

By the way, I can't think of any good reason to take this Boost plan over Visible's $25/mo plan. Visible includes hotspot, taxes and fees, calls to Canada and Mexico, and does not require autopay. Some might argue that Visible is a bit janky, which it is, but Boost comes with plenty of its own jank, so pick your poison. It's $25/mo. You can't, after all, expect the moon and stars.
DO NOT GET VISIBLE! I have had them for a couple years and while the service was great for the first year or so, I get prioritized so hard that nothing works even if I have full bars. This shouldn't be happening when I'm around 100 other people lol

Let's say the throttled down speed after limit is V1 Gbps, which translates to daily V2 GB usage and max monthly 31 * V2 MB. Then how can this be called unlimited when the max is (30 + 31*V2) GB a month?

"It started working bad for me so it will work bad for everyone else, so nobody try it." Never understood that attitude.

As with every provider, it depends entirely on your location/setup/tower/etc., and people need to do their own testing. What happens in your area isn't what happens in another, unless it's network wide, which it isn't. It will either work well enough, or it won't.

Visible works the same speed, or at least pretty close every time I've used/tested, to prepaid AND postpaid here on my rural tower, 24x7, adding only a little ping.

Was hopeful, by the title, that Boost was offering something similar for those I know in other service areas (that can get a usable signal other than Verizon).

I am trying to sign up for the promotion. I type in all of my information and click to submit the payment. Every time I do this I am given an error stating an unknown era has occurred and to try again later. I've tried processing it 10 times now with no luck. I've tried with and without PayPal. Do you have any advice or anyway around this? I haven't tried contacting customer care to have them do it over the phone but they told me it isn't possible because it uses a specific SIM card

Visible is $25 (with partypay that is super easy to do since you can join groups of tens of thousands) for unlimited without a throttle cliff, plus very generous on hotspot with some limitations reportedly not enforced. Data speeds are very YMMV since you're mostly using Verizon's spare capacity. .

But for those in a heavily congested area or who does not have a visible compatible phone, it's nice to see someone else playing in the $25/mo "unlimited". Even Boost. Not sure how aggressive they are going to throttle this tier after 30gb.

Caution: last deal was a shitshow because they sent out the wrong SIM cards and/or had website issues. CSR didn't know how to fix, other than sending another SIM. So, be prepared to work at getting this deal, and you don't want to time your switching services at the end of service period if you are changing prepaid providers.
