For iPhone:
You will need to do 2 things to make sure you can receive data on your iPhone

you activate your SIM card and your phone.

10. How does express activation work?
Express activation allows you to use your SIM account and service as soon as it arrives. Just

I am super confused to why their email that lets you know the order has shipped does not actually include a tracking number or anything other than info saying it "should" arrive in 5 to 7 days.
Checking incoming shipments to my address on UPS shows nothing coming at all, and checking on USPS I have a single packing coming to me, but that shipped on the 30th, and it is a Bound Printed Matter--USPS Tracking® package from BROKERS WORLDWIDE - LETTER SHOP in PHILADELPHIA ,PA which I doubt is the SIM from boost. So as far as shipping providers are showing there is nothing coming my way.
I recently got service with Boost through the black sim card AT&T network, and a Galaxy A53 bundled together. I had the service for one month, and in that time my line was suspended twice, I spent about 7 hours total on the phone with incompetent reps who were not trained to do what they needed to do (their answers mostly consisted of making tickets and that someone would call you back, which they never do) and I almost lost my number.
The kicker, however, was that on the day before I actually ported out, I was at Metro looking around and possibly going to port to them. Another customer was there, and she was upset because she had ported from Metro to Boost, and Boost had charged her for the transaction, but their system completely lost her number. No one could tell her why'd and so she had come back to Metro to see if it was still in their system. It was not. No one could give an answer why it just disappeared, but they said they were having system issues that day. My line was suspended for "excessive data usage" which was 17 GB out of my 35 for the month. When asked what "excessive data usage" meant, the rep then stated it was due to possible fraudulent or flagged activity. I promptly advised her that I only use the most basic of data services and websites, and pretty much only Chrome. I never got an answer as to what my "excessive fraudulent data usage" was, but spent three hours on the phone only to never get a callback or resolution.
The service is great when it decides to work, but they can and will shut your service down for any reason, worse than any other company I've dealt with, and if your life is suspended, they refuse to turn it back on. Just be careful with this deal.
