It's like some internal auditor at Walmart was wondering where all of this unaccounted for Christmas inventory that was on the books was located and kept looking in warehouses. She went "OMG, we've got a crap load of trees from about 10 years ago, let's mark them down a bunch and put them on slickdeals, we should blow through this stuff easily by October".
