Oems are really throttling 12th gen chips everywhere I look.
Expect much slower/shorter boost than this cpu is capable of.

I'm a noob here, but how is this a better deal for gaming other than the graphics card. It's basically the opposite for the processor. Inferior processor and smaller RAM for better graphics card.

You'll see very little difference in cpu's for most tasks between 3600x and 12700, most things will happen instantly, and load time differences will be maybe a couple seconds. Meanwhile the 1660ti will give you way more fps in games, which is what the whole thing's for right?
For the ram, that's a 20-30$ stick of ram to fix that, and 16gb is all you'll need.
