I bought this for my dog the last time it was on sale, and I can't figure out how any dog is able to pull the white "latches" out without opposable thumbs.

I don't have this one; I have the Level 1 and a Level 2 dog toys. I'm guessing that maybe a dog could pull the latches with its teeth? Really I don't know. I checked out the Amazon reviews and they're really good. I guess Border Collies can figure this out. Smilie

Beyond my pup too, but her idea of "solving" this one is to beat the hell out of it until it gives up the goodies. She's good with level 2 stuff, so we may just be expecting too much out of our bully.
