The Ninja various models have been on sale here an there and I almost purchased but they are very wide,large, and the inside height is short for my uses so I passed.

Debating on this one but hate BB 15 days return policy. eBay tempted me since 5 percent cb via PayPal but looks like returning has to be mailed back and states buyer pays return shipping.

For those of you who have this.. does it have a dedicated toast function? Is it quick or basically pre- heats up like a normal "bake" function? I see reviews mention no timer countdown which is odd

When using the toast setting there is no pre-heating. All the other modes have pre-heating before the timer starts.

Note the toast setting has a default of level 4 and a quantity of 6 slices so you'll end up changing it constantly.
