This deal is back (once again), started today. It was this price but without the $150 shop card for the past 10 days since the last shop card deal ended on 7/15, can probably call to get a pricematch for the shop card if you recently purchased.

Costco.com has the LG 65" Class - C1 Series - 4K UHD OLED TV for $1,599.99 plus a $150 shop card, $100 streaming credit, and 3 year Allstate protection plan. This TV purchase also allows you to schedule your delivery date to make sure you're home on that day.

Details on the shop card:
Receive a $150 Costco Shop Card with the purchase of this LG 65" TV.
Shop card will be mailed within 4-6 weeks after purchase.
Offer valid 7/25/22 through 7/31/22.

According to the website: Price valid through 8/14/22. Bonus $150 Costco Shop Card
While supplies last.

https://www.costco.com/lg-65%22-c...61679.html

**EDIT** Stock may be dependent on delivery zip code, but if it shows out of stock for you you can try again in a few hours or maybe the next day and it might show back in stock. This is what it was doing for me the other day, showed out of stock for delivery to my zip code but then showed back in stock a few days later.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Love my two C1s. Have 55 & 77. If you've never gone OLED, well worth the upgrade.

Taking mine back today. I was so excited to get an OLED but I can't get over how terrible sports broadcasts look, nor older shows.

HDR movies look amazing on it. Crystal clear but other than that I was constantly playing with settings trying to eliminate absolutely horrendous black crush.

Video games with dark scenes? Forget about it.

It seems the c1 excels at one thing. HDR films or rather newer sdr films look really clear, great color and the black level is amazing. Anything else, sports, TV shows, dark video games and those same blacks crush everything and make it look unwatchable. Sports for whatever reason is incredibly blurry.

A small gripe I had is this is an expensive TV and they gave it a line of sight IR remote. Since mine isn't mounted my soundbar blocks the tiny ir. I haven't had a TV with an ir remote or ir sensor this tiny in years.

Before purchasing you need to truly consider your use case. If it's mostly movie watching in the dark it'll blow you away.

Try Sony as they deal better with the black crush.

As they did before, the $150 Costco shop card has been dropped, while the $1599 price, and $100 streaming credit, remain.

Might have to hook mine up soon to see if I notice any of the things you mentioned. I was planning on waiting about a month more before putting it up on the wall do to some renovations happening in the room it will go in but I might have to check it out sooner to stay within the 90 day return window.

I've seen some comments about how Sony A80J (A80CJ) is better for non-gamers but the review at rtings.com made them seem very similar after changing the settings on the LG (to their recommendation). They actually give sports and TV Shows a bit better score on the LG than the Sony, not by much though. I plan on mainly using this TV for streaming (Netflix, Disney+, etc...sports will be through the Xfinity Stream app) and the occasional 4k disc movie.

Xfinity is horrible to stream pretty much everything and sports are unwatchable through LG Smart TV AP have 300 mbps Xfinity service too

LG Ap for free youtube is fine for Music Videos....actual sports or action movies and TV are BAD.

Where i use apple air play from my iPad then picture is pretty good...

gonna hook Apple TV box next and see what happens...will we back with update

OK..so i hooked my 1080 Apple TV. these are all Aps loaded on apple tv BOX

Hulu...basically its pretty good. i would say like 720 ..colors a bit washed
Netflix...pretty great
Disney..new Dr Strang Movie which streams upto 4k UHD IMAX..... OUTSTANDING~~ Blacks, colors...blur is minimal. This all set with LG on HDR or standard viewing. VIVID and sport is WAY to bright.
ABC, NBC and FOX. streaming is good and blows away the xfinity ap that i loaded to LG TV.

i can imaginre once calibrated after 100 hours or so the picture should get better....

I have no live sports right now but..
when i did watch NBA finals colors popped and blacks were great, however streaming though the LG app caused blur. and Xfinity sports and everything was unwatchable for me!

hence i am waiting to go with SONY OLED since my primary watching is sports and live TV

.

I would definitely recommend watching it for a few days before the return period is up. A game like fortnite or forza for instance looks amazing.

When forza turns to night you notice the black crush but it isn't really a big deal. A game like resident evil for instance where there are dark tones on human clothing, and dark backgrounds is tough. I had to raise brightness so much it made the overall game look bad.

It sounds like I'm bashing and I'm not certain tvs have use cases. My use case is too mixed. I learned that reviews weren't talking about this and somehow there are thousands of threads and posts. Reviews are done in controlled static environments with calibrated sets. A bit different than my living room.

Bought the 65 Sony A80CJ for $1500 and now bought a floor model 65 LG C1 for $800. I'm still leaning towards A80CJ. Anyone in a similar spot with opinions?

For nearly half the price, I'd keep the C1 considering both are very similar specs wise.

I know…I've realized after some use that Google TV OS on the Sony can basically do everything that my Shield was doing, so that cuts out one device that needs to be hooked up. It's nice to have all these deals, but it makes choosing a little harder lol. Commiserate in my first world problems, friends.

Yah I hear you. I was able to get a Sony 77 NIB for $2000. That was after I got a 77 C1 for 2400. Tough to decide which to keep.
