Triband Linksys Velop AC2200 Refurb was available earlier today for $96. Out of stock now but if you can wait that's what I would shoot for.

Parental controls and app experience would be the primary reason I would go with Google. But Linksys will offer better bandwidth and coverage with it being tri-band.

How about from a longevity point of view? I am running the Google Onhub devices and they will stop getting updates EOY. Do you know if Linksys keeps supporting their product longer or google?
My main frustration with Google was that I cant disable 5ghz even temporarily to set up a 2.4 ghz smart plug. That said, it has been decent.

I believe this is 2016 model, the 2020 model comes with google assistant and no ethernet ports on the satellites I believe.

Yeah if you have Ethernet backhauls you're actually better off with the 2016 version.

Either that or get wifi 6 not that there's many wifi6 devices out there
