See those dates one is within 6 months the other in the last month. The x60 is as stable as it gets but also varies on the hardware version there are over 4 of them.
Tp-Link does regular updates and has for over 2 years now for almost all their product lines (deco 100%), but if something is not broken then why try to fix it, unlike a few other brands who fix one thing and break another so they have to rush to push another firmware out, I wont name names but you probably know who that is.
Yep, plus the guy is blowing smoke.

Coming up on 2 years with this setup and I'm pretty much at my wit's end. Will 'upgrading' to this setup solve my woes? I'm only paying for 600down and like 40up (yay overpriced comcast) so I'm not worried about hitting giga speeds but what I am worried about is making sure my 70+ devices stay connected without going around and manually rebooting my mesh setup. Will this be worth the "upgrade" or should I look elsewhere?
note: this sprung from them saying "200+ devices" and a quick search shows that the netgear AX1800 only does 30+? Also, about 90% of my plugs and switches are tp-link so I was thinking getting their router would help

I've had the Deco AXE53000 for about a month now and its be rock solid with ~77 devices connected to it

Since then, I've made sure that all FW updates are manual and even though it's not ideal, I manually check for new FW and always hit the forums to see if there are issues before manually updating. It's really quite annoying lol

1) Will your APs be using wireless or wired to connect the backhaul?
2) If wireless, how far apart will the APs be from each other?
If most/all your APs will be on an ethernet backhaul, then 100% get the AXE5300 to future-proof yourself with 6ghz
If most/all your APs will be on a wireless backhaul AND far apart from each other, I would look at the Deco with tri-band (two 5ghz bands and 1 2.4ghz band). It will have a better wireless backhaul since 5ghz has much better range than 6ghz (e.g. Deco M9: https://www.tp-link.com/us/deco-m...o-m9-plus/)

I wanted to add Asus mesh as main router as the interface looks like a regular router interface with all kinds of options/settings and other units as AP. Not having a traffic/bandwidth monitor in Tp link is an annoyance but i was not sure if mixing Asus + Deco mesh would even work. Although ASUS might be expensive for 2 or 3 units.
