- If an item is ordered & paid for, but delivery is after the holiday, item is still tax exempt.
- Merchants follow the specific state's time zone. Exceptions: 1) WV: time zone of the seller's location determines the authorized time period for the sales tax holiday when the purchaser & seller are located in different time zones.
- At Apple.com, tax savings may not appear during checkout, but will be reflected on the final receipt
- Partial Exemptions Do Not Apply - Total Cost Must Meet Price Limits: If an item sells for more than the threshold (e.g. $1700 for a MBP if the threshold is $1500), tax must be paid on the entire selling price
