We did that one year at Thanksgiving - bought 2 laptops at Costco in Delaware as we were passing through. Black Friday Special and no sales tax.

Can I order a Macbook through Apple and pick it up a day or two after the tax-free holiday ends? Ex- For FL, I order it on the last day, which is the 7th, for store pick up, but go get it on the 9th?

Delaware has zero sales tax, so that isn't a tax holiday. I'm wondering if these holidays are restricted to state residents only. Which could make sense as the state government is taking the hit.

I'm pretty sure you can schedule it according to your trip if you're passing by. I did something similar where I was passing through one city which had a lower tax rate and was charged the same rate rather than going off of my billing address which has a higher tax rate but this was within the same state.
