I have been looking for a basic queen size adjustable frame and this came across my radar tonight so I snatched one and thought I'd share since I didn't see it posted on SD. It retailed for $1349 (if you believe retail pricing) but sales were usually around $749.

Deal Link: https://www.nectarsleep.com/move-...-bed-frame

I chatted with a Nectar rep who said that this model was from a 'retail partnership' and during the shutdown didn't sell well. I guess it's been this price since the July 4th sale. Now they are trying to clear inventory and only have Queen left.

.This is a basic adjustable frame, but has some higher-end features:
-built in massage
-two usb ports
-under bed lighting
-'zero-g' setting
-two 'favorites' buttons
-15 inch height means lots of under bed storage
-free shipping, 50-night trial with free returns, 3-year warranty

Chase cardholders may get 6% back if you use 'shop through chase' (helped me offset tax)

1) Relatively easy. It was a horrible pain getting it up the stairs (extremely heavy and large box; two strong people required for sure), but once I got it into place, I was actually able to put it together all on my own. Took about 30 minutes on my own.

2) I don't know if I would feel comfortable jumping onto the bed full force, but I definitely haven't felt like I would break it at any point. It feels very well built. But... to be honest, being a bigger guy, I don't know of any bed I'd feel comfortable jumping on full force (as I've definitely broken some base boards!). I feel like this one is holding up very well and as long as I'm not a maniac, I think it'll hold up. I definitely feel more confident in this vs wooden baseboards.

3) I just plopped onto the bed right now and was squirming and shifting around aggressively. I don't hear anything squeaky. I do have this on a carpet. But at least from ~3 months of owning this, no concerns as of yet about it holding up. Perhaps someone else with a longer term of ownership could speak to this better.

Worth noting I was probably around 375 - 380 lbs. when I initially got the bed. Been losing weight. It has felt just as fine then as it does now.

The manual states 850 lbs limit "supported evenly between the head and foot sections". Here's the specifics direct from the manual on that: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1...sp=sharing. Definitely some level of ambiguity with the explanation in the manual.

Hope this helps!
So I actually own this! Picked it up during a recent holiday sale about 2.5 months ago (along with the Copper Nectar mattress).

The core of the frame works well.

The one thing I really, really dislike about it (almost to the point where I wanted to return it prior to the 50 days), is that there are no memory functions. You can't setup your own position and have it go back to it. You have to manually tweak it every time. And the pre-set positions don't work for me.

You'd think it's not a big deal, but if you find a perfectly comfortable position, it's such a pain to get it back to exactly where you like it. As a result, I've been using the adjustment functions less and less. Whereas if there was memory functions, I would use it more often.

Learned from a commenter that you can customize the two of the presets by overwriting the factory defaults. So that's pretty amazing. Learned something new here!

If you have a nightstand next to you and you intend to use it very often while you're propped up, just know that the bed frame moves you forward a whole lot. Don't even try for drinks! I usually need to twist and awkwardly shift to reach behind me to grab stuff on my nightstand. Not a deal breaker as I don't do it too often, but just useful info if you need to access to your nightstand or bed-side items (like a phone) frequently while the bed frame is elevated. Not having the memory functions makes this truly annoying.

There is no built in storage for the remote. I always have it sitting next to my pillow, but I've lost it and dropped it endless times. It's extremely annoying (but I'm a bigger guy). Would be nice if there was a built in place to put it. Putting it and retrieving it on a night stand is difficult (for the reasons above).

The massage functionality only lasts for 10 minutes. Would be nice if there was a timer or some sort of more advanced controls. It's nothing amazing. Just some vibration action near your back and butt (and you need to be at the middle of the mattress/frame to really feel the full impact). But there's around 8 - 10 different massage settings that impact the pulsing frequency.

Lastly, the mattress tends to slide around on this bed frame. I had it initially set in its highest position, and would frequently find my mattress hanging off the left or right side as I crawled up onto it. You want to make sure you have the frame/mattress sitting lower so you don't bump it around horizontally too much while getting into bed. If you have a lighter, less weighty mattress, I'd be a bit more concerned (because my mattress is already very heavy and still slides).

Pic of the remote for anyone curious: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1...sp=sharing

I don't know if they are still giving away the free bed-sheets set, but I do like those that came with it. Bit of an airy feeling to them, but I like that.

But yeah, if anyone has any questions about the bed frame or the Nectar Copper mattress on top of it, feel free to let me know (I'm 6'3" 350 lbs side sleeper).
i too was confused how the Move bed frame is priced higher than the original adjustable bed frame. i spoke with two separate associates on the chat and can confirm that the Move is actually the new and improved version with an remote and USB port for charging your phones. It's lighter, faster, quieter, etc. So i decided to pull the trigger.

Hope this clears some of the confusion some of us has.

Will this work with my low profile European style bed frame? I'm not sure how it'll fit?

I have a low profile bed if this type. It works well with an adjustable bed frame. I had the mattress and frame before the bed. It had to be built around the bed frame. The wooden slats are in my garage. If you have slats or even just one attached to the bed frame in the middle they would need to be removed. It's basically concentric rectangles where no part of the bed touches the bed frame.

Weird question but never know. Can you attach the actually moving platform to your existing frame? I have a storage bed frame so I can lift the bed on frame up for storage

No you cannot. Not the headboard or footboard because the front end and the back end of the bed frame moves.

Might not be too helpful but many memory-foam mattresses contain fiberglass
  • Zinus
  • Classic Brands
  • Vibe
  • Ashley Furniture
  • Amazon Basics
  • Purple
  • GhostBed
  • DreamCloud
  • Nectar
The mattress will include a protective cover on it (made of fabric) and just keep it on it at all times and you should be perfectly fine (most brands say never take that cover off to wash). I recommend purchasing a waterproof cover to put on it if you're worried. This one has a B on Fakespot and 18k reviews with a 4.7 score - https://www.amazon.com/Waterproof...B0858WS1ZN

Customizing the memory and preset buttons:
You can store new head and foot positions by customizing the memory and preset buttons. For safety reasons, the Flat and Anti-Snore buttons cannot be customized.
1 Move the head and/or foot sections to your desired position.
2 Press and hold the FLAT button and the preset button that you
want to customize for 5 seconds .
The new bed position is now stored in your selected preset button overriding the factory default.

Just bought this at the $399 price for queen so it is still alive. Will try it out and return, but I feel like I will like it (I have neck/back issues and hate sleeping on my back so am hoping this will help).

FWIW there is a MR out there who gives REBATES with purchases from this site of 5% I think (seemed to make more sense for me to do this vs the chase rewards points - nice, but id prefer cash)

So I just put this together. I only pinched my fingers twice lol. It's quiet and weighs about 120 lb. The height off the ground is nice and it uses six legs with none in the middle which is also nice. It took me about 30 minutes all together to put the bed frame together.

YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE TWO BUTTONS.
See attached image. The comment above mine also explains it.

Yeah, memory foam does that. Latex doesn't get as hot but it's 3x the cost. I recommend something like a BedJet or a cooling blanket like https://www.amazon.com/Elegear-Re...B083TQ127T (it has some mixed reviews though)

Does anyone know where to get headboard brackets for this? I received the frame in the mail and everything works well; they even allude to brackets in the installation instructions. They do not come with the bed though and the folks at nectar aren't very helpful Frown

Wish I had saved my money and gotten one with a base cover like their newest one has. Hate how I can see the slats on my platform bed. Also don't like the mesh they used. It's loose and doesn't provide much support on the sides, so my mattress is firmer in the middle. Went to the store and the newer bases have a pretty much solid platform for the matress.

The display models at JC Penny have covers with a slot for the remote that slide over the pole that stops the matress from sliding off the bed. Don't know if they sell it to the public though. Haven't had luck web searching.
