We had the Nuna for 3 years and just switched to the Graco Slimfit3 LX (not the same as the one you mentioned but very similar except that it's 17 wide instead of 21). So far, for the features I need, they are on the same level. Nuna is more plush and details slightly more refined like the stitching. Nuna is hefty compare to the Graco. The Graco I got is easier to put kids in because of the more open design compared to the cocoon shape of the nuna (like fiddling with the seat belts and tucking it in to the little holders on the sides, the Graco, you can just sling it around the chair). I found this to be the most convenient factor. It was on sale for 200 but normally 279 which isn't a cheap seat to begin with. I considered the Clek foonf but couldn't justify the pricing. Hope this helps.

Also to the people asking why parents would spend 400 on a car seat, ask yourself why you care. And if you don't care, why even ask. People have different priorities, budgets and threshold on when something becomes too expensive FOR THEM. Unless you get paid to give financial advice on Slickdeals car seat forum, then you do you.

Actually that's not true. This seat has a 10 year expiration. I bought it during the anniversary sale figuring I'll lose a year until I actually put my child in it but 9 years is still plenty of time.

Dang now I need to decide if I'd rather have black than the gray one.

Anyone know Nordstroms return policy for car seats? We won't need this car seat for about a year but wanted to hop on this deal… but if a better deal comes up, wondering if I can return (unopened)

Just fyi for point of price reference. We're expecting later this year, we bought 1/30/22 for the same price from Nordstrom in caviar.

From my research, These brands (Uppababy/Nuna type) go on sale 2x per year…July and xmas/NY.

Great deal, car seats have a 5 yr expiration. Note when you buy it, the seat will already be 1 year behind bc of manufacturer date. It'll still last 4-5 years
