Beware... Pennzoil Platinum performed WORSE than their cheaper regular full synthetic oil in the recent Project Farm video. Ultra Platinum is what you want to look for.

pennzoil didnt pay the last rebate. im sure they pay some...but not all. just look for the reviews related to this. so dont thhink that getting your rebate is a guarantee. my rebate was absolutely valid (purchased from Amazon...submitted all the correct paperwork). each time i file it they give a different response. took it up a level and now they wont respond at all.

My rebate got denied because I placed 2 single orders with s&s so they had different order numbers even though they shipped in the same box. Make sure you order a quantity of 2 at one time. The lady I talked to at Pennzoil was an absolute bitch and enjoyed telling me why I did not qualify.

Mobil 1 rebate is active. Do a search and it pops up. Just submitted mine (mobil 1) and got approved for it last week.

Took advantage of the Pennzoil rebate earlier this year getting 2-5 quart jugs of the 5W-20 for our camper van. The rebate took about 6 weeks to go through and chose the Amazon gift card. Now I need oil for our other two vehicles that use 0W-20. Hopefully the second rebate will go as well as the first. The only oil rebate that hasn't work for me was for Castro Edge, followed the instructions to the letter and they claimed was not filed correctly.

I used ultra platinum. It's different base Oil ( natural gas instead is f crude). For few $ more you get better product

I'm not sure why but my car seems to burn this oil. I have to add a quart every 750-850 miles on this. I don't have to do that with Mobil 1.

Weird?
