Not sure if the description above is auto populated, but pretty sure G30LP is rated to go only 25 miles or so.

That rating is going to be best case.

Real life example: I weigh 210 lbs, took it 4 miles in sport mode, with some steep hills this past weekend, and it used 35% battery.

The max 30p is the one that goes up to 40 miles a charge and that one is currently 899.

I wish our government had good subsidies for electric scooters. It's more realistic to buy a good and nice electric scooter around $1k than $50k Tesla or many other inflated electric cars. IMO, this would help the planet more if we can educated the people and build better infrastructure for public transport and bikes in general. But everything we do lately is so backwards. Sorry for making it too political

This reminds me of my 12" jetson bolt. For reference, I'm 6'2", 190 lbs and get around pretty well on it. It is less than half the price of most others and I find it to be good quality.

No...this is way faster with slightly more range. My G30P Gen2 hits 21mph stock. There are mods to increase the power curve and squeeze more power.

The Jetson can maybe hit 18-19 with a 48v battery. But even with the hack it's still held back by poor range.

I have this (w/o seat) and I really like it. I've had a cheapo before that didn't feel very safe.
It doesn't get the 25mile range at all. Maybe 15 miles max, wish I would've gotten the G30P.
However, segway is releasing new top end scooters next month (or soon) for more than twice the price.

Electric scooters are not environmentally friendly whatsoever. Where do you think the batteries come from and go where they are depleted? These are still very dirty from an environmental perspective.
When all cars are electric in less than 10 years, we are going to have a issue.

Yeah if there were better direct routes I could ebike or possibly scooter almost all places. Bike trails are fine for passing time but most aren't on a route from one part of a city to another that I've seen in my city.
