The tread was designed because the owner couldn't take his multi-tool into Disney world. Try taking your wave on a plane. I take my tread on a plane all the time.

I own one, I bought two more. I use the one I have as my watch band. The most useful tool I own.

I used mine to tighten a rattling tray on a train not too long ago, which saved me a lot of annoyance. I SIM swap a lot for travel so the SIM tool alone is sweet. I use the package cutter and bottle opener parts the most often tho, it works reasonably well. Not a replacement for a real leatherman but I've taken it into all sorts of secure places with no issue. Definitely not for everyone tho.

I would pay good money for someone to start a YouTube channel where they assemble IKEA furniture using only this.

I've always been interested in this, but even at $59, i'd rather put that towards another Wave. The practicality of wearing that daily and actually using it is near zero.
Sometimes the angle flexibility will save your life. One time I spent 8 hours trying to thread in 2 screws. Dumb ass engineers never thought about serviceability. LOL.

Carbid glass breaker included, ahaha. "Honey, the car is underwater but never mind, just let me remove the bracelet and find the glass breaker, it is on link 14"

My old Gerber 400 knife snapped leaving only an inch on the blade, Gerber sent me a new one but the old one is travel safe by removing the blade tool.

What are you doing on the plane? Taking the seat apart? I just put my noise cancelling headphone on and sleep.

There are companies that make links so that it will fit an apple watch. The weight becomes irrelevant. I wear Samsung watches, but it's the band on my Samsung watch, and it has been on the last two Samsung watches, and there's another Samsung watch with the related links to attach it on the way.
Can you link to this I am looking to get this for my Samsung 3 classic watch
