First, a potential deal-breaker if the laptop screen will be your primary screen: 45% NTSC screen. Everything else looks great.

https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/la...21cq000gus

Apply coupons THINKBIGDEALS and BTS2022 to get cart total of $1,589.50

This fits my use case of wanting an all-day battery <3lb machine I can do data science work and low-setting gaming (the 680m is the best integrated GPU there is) on the road, while still being able to plug it into an eGPU and gaming monitor when back home. That said, if you do photo or video work on your laptop, you will want a better screen.

(Additional 5% off possible if one of Higher Ed Student, Teacher, Nurse, Medical Provider, First Responder, or Senior. Or try chatting a rep and asking for a quote...)

No psref for this specific config, but looks to have a good battery life per the configuration #1 this resembles here:

If you need something like this laptop and you decide this is your laptop must have and you spend all this moneys and get your laptop and after 3 - 4 months you decide you can't stand the screen, here

https://www.ebay.com/itm/325153697527

This ebay seller is selling a 72% NTSC screen upgrade for about 140-150 shipped

How is this compared to P16s - https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/la...21ck0025us? I got it for $1300. Is T14s worth $300 more than P16s?
The differences b/w P16s and T14s are:

1. 1TB vs 2TB Pro SSD
2. 52Whr (can be upgraded to 86Whr later) vs 57Whr

This has TB4? I'm thinking of buying an enclosure or adapter and use my current older cards.

Probably only Lenovo is idiotic enough to put a 45% NTSC, 300 nits screen on on a $1,500 laptop.

Lenovo sales rep told me the USB4 hardware is in the P16s. All it needs is updated drivers.

That was a great deal on P16s!
16" and numpad are way more practical. Though 14s is definitely a bit lighter. Both are way lighter than the full size P16.

@bjgfromthe703 Are you running Windows and/or dual booting with Linux on this laptop?

I will be running some flavor of Ubuntu in a dual boot setup if I purchase this.

thanks,
