Lowest price I've seen! Really thinking about jumping on this one. This is only $20ish more than the recently release Harbor Freight battery operated grease guns, so it's a great deal for those of us in the Makita battery infrastructure:

Oh the drudgery of pumping that lever on a grease gun!

Seriously, as much a fan I am of Makita tools, I do wonder about the scenario where this is a difference maker?

In general this seems more like one of those oddball Ryobi 18V tools, the clear leader in tools you didn't know you needed.

I thought the same thing until I bought some heavy equipment to do work around my property - you're supposed to grease everything each day you fire it up. On a couple dozen fittings, it gets old fast.
I also borrowed a excavator from a neighbor for a while, and he sent along his Dewalt battery powered grease gun and it was the greatest thing I've ever used, haha. I was excited to find this on sale!

I did this for a living on multi million dollar production lines and came to the same conclusion--when results matter you need to be able to "feel" if something is not quite right!

I got an M18 one b/c my probably 50 year old gun was turning into a 3 hand tool and leaked. IMO, you should order one, and if you don't like it, test Amazon's return policy. If you have anything with more fittings than you can count on your fingers, you'll love having one. If you use more than a case of grease per year, you'll love it. If you have any hard to reach fittings you can't even see, you'll soon wonder how you did without it.

Their only downside is they provide no feedback. No indication whatsoever if grease is flowing or not and why.

Exactly.
Greasing my equipment requires 3 hands with a hand pump.
With this, I can go back to 2 hands, lol.

When its your job to grease 300+ grease points on a single commerical vehicle in a shift. And you'll have to pump it 20x per fitting because the inspector wants to see only new grease come out of the witness hole. Then come back tomorrow and do it for the next vehicle in the fleet.

I stand corrected, for sure! Leading a charmed sealed-bearing life here. Thanks for the info. Just about anything Makita has been a win for me!
