The $80 Aspire XC deal has J4125 CPU which has much lower TDP buy it is also much slower than i5 6500.
This is a good deal. Sometimes you can get from ebay for cheaper. I got one for $80 a few months back and it is still a very capable machine for handling all office work and streaming.

But now pricing the very minimun acceptable graphics card these days, GT 1030 @ about $100
Or step up to GTX 1650 for about $250

Windows 11 is not supported on Haswell Platform. So down the road there may be an updating issue. I suggest windows 10 with these older machine.

If the CPU is fully loaded the majority of the time, you will see a measurable difference in power consumption and performance, but for mostly idle workloads (ie, the vast majority of situations) a 6500 and 6500t will not be very different (other than the 6500 being able to turbo up to a higher frequency under load).

They do advertise a 90 day "Amazon renewed guarantee".

So that should be something. Acts as a 90 day money back return period.
It costs as much as a tank of gas, and we're not complaining about the utility of that!
If the computer solves a need for you, get it. If not, move along. What's the purpose of TD'ing? The cost of your time spent here makes this computer meaningfully more expensive.

At this stage, I don't have time to waste on anything but ships and sold by Amazon, and even some of those require scrutiny and experience to know how fulfillment is actually taking place. Given the source and the specs, this deal is definitely an option a knowledgeable buyer could explore, but far from anything I'd recommend to a casual PC shopper.
Thanks for the link and detail on that program.
Good luck!
Jon
