You can always buy cans and come back in a month or so to have the color added.
Store associates try to market the Emerald since its their "highest" quality paint. There are minimal differences between the Emerald and the Duration line with the Duration being moisture and mold resistant which helps in areas with high humidity and water (ie. bathrooms and kitchens). They are both thick paints and despite being marketed as a single coat application, they will need 2-3 coats for a nice and even color. The coat number obviously depends on the color and the layer underneath it (new, old, primer, etc..). Both are somewhat thicker paints and are marketed as "harder" to apply although I can tell you that they are just as easy to spread as any other paint. Duration is about 7-8 dollars less per gallon (10%) than Emerald and about 10-15 (20%) more than Super paint. We decided on Duration since it is almost the same as Emerald (marginally less solid compounds) and has the moisture protection which comes in handy when there are kids. Duration and Emerald allow you to keep low sheen levels and still have that washability. Both are considered top tier and the highest quality paint followed by Super paint which is only good for spot washing and not considered washable.
Super paint is the top seller at my local SW because it is significantly cheaper than Duration and Emerald. It is a mid tier paint and is somewhat economical in comparison. You'll need at least 2 coats of it. The lifespan of SP is a couple of years less than Emerald or Duration. It is still considered expensive compared to big box store brands.
If you have the money and want a top tier paint, Duration is probably your best bet. If you don't wanna break the bank, Super paint is a great option. 35% sale is great opportunity to stock up on paint, I have been waiting for 7 months for a deal like this because we are painting the entire house.

They had zero promotions in 2021. Last month was 30% off. This is real deal, they must be hurting for sales.
