For me it says the sale end date when I go to the product's page. Do you not see it? I wonder if the sale is only for my location?

Using the link provided it doesn't give the sale information. Close the app, reopen and input the model number. The sale information is then displayed. I've seen this similar issue for the past 1-2 months

Use one of the price trackers. It should show its often prices at 99. Granted its not now, that's why I mentioned if you can wait longer for a better deal

Batteries are 1.5 Ah which I guess will be light but Id much rather have them 2 Ah. Size-wise, it's hard to beat the Atomic model [homedepot.com].

At least they're not the 1.3 Ah. And with brushless 1.5 is still decent.

Bought this last month at this price and love it. I've used it to repair my wood fence, drilling the planks into treated 4 x 4's. It handled that without a sweat. I also used it to assemble a treadmill and a new bed. All of those jobs were easy for the tool.

One note, there is no torque switch on the tool. Torque varies by speed which is controlled by the trigger. You will need a steady trigger finger.

I bought one of these, and been using it every few weeks on a home project. Works as expected, and battery life is not a problem.

Atomic model DCF850 does look nicer with its shorter body. But despite the specs this one is slightly more powerful (though the difference may be negligible in practice). BCF840 has no speed settings though- variable trigger only.

DCF850 is their best driver. Super powerful and fits into tight spaces. I love mine.
