Just did this with the iPhone SE 3rd Gen. Grabbed a Google Voice #, ported for $3, and picked up the iPhone for just ~$26 (tax).

Nice option here for Android users.

based on the xfinity mobile product page, it looks like the international model G1AZG?

Should be the Verizon model with mmWave, but Xfinity may have cheaped out with the cheaper version.

Has to be paid off to unlock so yeah you have to wait out the 24 months to get all of the bill credits.

Taxes plus $12/$15 for shared data depending on if you have a grandfathered account. For me taxes are around $3/month and I have other lines so not paying extra data for adding this. Someone who doesn't already have XM definitely needs to consider the monthly data fee.

I couldn't get their website to do much of anything.
Is the free phone good with any plan?
What is the charge for 2 phones with 3gb of shared data?
What happens if we run out of data?
I take it this is on the Verizon network?
Someone said it was the international model. Does that matter?
Thanks.

They really don't want to show you plan costs easily but it looks like 3GB would be $30/month per line which is insanely expensive in this day and age. Since it's about double what other providers offer you are simply getting a phone for $360 on a payment plan. Chances of bloatware are high as well.

https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/learn/plan very easy to check the price.
My family of 4 share 6 lines. Two are backups. We pay $65 per month for 10GB of shared data. We never go over. You get free 5G as any Verizon customer. In the Bay Area, I don't feel any difference with XM compared to postpaid Verizon which we switched over from. The savings are obviously enormous. If you want unlimited plan for a whole family, the savings may not be as significant.

Service is almost as good except if your data gets deprioritized because you're connected to a congested cell tower, like at a concert or sporting event.
