Pixel 6a is much inferior phone in terms of processing power when compared to iPhone SE 2022. iPhone was a better deal
Sure if you're okay owning a toy phone. SE has some of the worst battery life of any modern smartphone.

You could not pay me enough money to try using this service again. Their customer support is legitimately the worst nightmare I've ever experienced. I was constantly overcharged, and they could not figure out how to port my numbers over to the point that I had a dead line for a month. I cancelled service 4 times before they finally stopped billing me. Oh and one time when I cancelled they cancelled my Internet account instead. Just top tier garbage all around.
how did you cancel service? best way is to port out. calling in to cancel is just asking for a headache.

Just did this with the iPhone SE 3rd Gen. Grabbed a Google Voice #, ported for $3, and picked up the iPhone for just ~$26 (tax).

Nice option here for Android users.
crap i missed that deal. i did the gen 2 SE last year and it's still sitting in its sealed box. i would rather have a gen 3 on deck if my current phone gets damaged.
i'd actually like to see an iphone mini show up for free with add-a-line. i'd even be ok with an 12 mini like i have now.

I thought this would really be a great combo deal with the $30 Internet + Mobile discount..but they really nerfed that deal. It's no longer available here to existing customers. Plus for new customers, the deal looks the same as before, but now in the fine print it's $10 combo + an extra $20 if you get an unlimited data mobile line.

good question but i only have 2 Big Grin

I use an iPhone 12 Mini and a gen 2 SE is sitting in a drawer in case something happens to my mini. I don't want to have to scramble for a replacement phone and pay through the nose for it.

Priority levels are based upon the XFinity plan and/or upgrades.

XFinity "By-the-gig" shared data plan has QCI 8, which is Verizon's highest consumer priority level (same level as most Verizon postpaid plans)

XFinity "Unlimited (20 GB of 4G data, unlimited on 5G data)" plans have a lower priority level (QCI 9), as do most of the Verizon MVNOs.

swx88's XFinity Mobile plan does not get de-prioritized because of the "By-the-Gig" plan.

The exceptions:
  • Verizon's "Start Unlimited" postpaid plan (QCI 9),
  • Adding "HD Pass" option to a XFinity "unlimited (20 GB)" for $20/month per line (QCI 8)
  • US Mobile's Super LTE SIM on 5G cellphone (QCI 8)
Didn't know this. Great info.

Did you request for more lines or they just up the limit automatically? Any hint what is the criteria for more line?

You can have more than 5 if you have been with them for over 6 months with good credit standing.

They really don't want to show you plan costs easily but it looks like 3GB would be $30/month per line which is insanely expensive in this day and age. Since it's about double what other providers offer you are simply getting a phone for $360 on a payment plan. Chances of bloatware are high as well.
Remember this is shared data and you can add as many as lines to user 3GB shared data without additional line access fees.

if you add 4 lines and you will just pay $30+taxes in total vs $15/each line with 1GB data each with other providers which is $60 for 4GB data but not sharable.

"Also Xfinity Rewards customers may $100 add-a-line credit per line (YMMV)", where is this stated in the promo? need to port 1 number out from Cricket. TIA.

Getting "You're eligible for one Xfinity Mobile lines but did not qualify for any device payment plans. You must pay in full for your device(s). You can modify your selections below." Why? my credit score is over 800.
