can I pay off the phone after a month and get the phone unlocked?
I will keep the number and plan for 24 month to receive the credit
No unfortunately. I verified thru chat You have to choose between unlocking the phone and keeping the discount. The credit is applied to device payments only. If you pay off the device to unlock, you will stop receiving the bill credit. Extremely dumb, I know

I have tried Mint mobile before. It's less reliable because it run Tmobile. Wifi calling and VoLTE both had issues or just don't work. This is not all about the amount of data or total cost.
'reliability' is 100% location dependent. TMO coverage/speeds are good where I live, Verizon is a reasonable 2nd place, and ATT is very poor coverage. Not an issue of 'better' or 'worse' No need to do Wifi / VoLTE calling if you have a good cell signal... I dont need to use data for voice, its just a waste of money.

It varies from state to state but on the other hand, google fi charges $5 on $20 plan for one line. Xfinity at same zipcode charges me $3-4 when I had 3 lines

xfinity plan is just too expensive.
$15 only has 1GB data. $30 for 3GB data
If 3GB monthly bill is $15, I will consider move my kids phone to xifinity from mintmobile.

Same here except you got faster home internet! Signed up this morning for 300mbps home internet for $50 -$20 wireless credit + $16.97 for 1gb shared among 2 lines. $47 for 24 months for both internet and mobile? Yes please.

You don't know what you are missing. Hint hint, pool data, priority verizon, or unlimited options too.

Correct sir. They offered me a two year contract for my current price but faster internet and then added on this mobile deal. How could anyone possibly say no? I would have been paying an additional $15 for the internet alone. This way I get mobile service + a free phone at $15 less!

I thought this would really be a great combo deal with the $30 Internet + Mobile discount..but they really nerfed that deal. It's no longer available here to existing customers. Plus for new customers, the deal looks the same as before, but now in the fine print it's $10 combo + an extra $20 if you get an unlimited data mobile line.
There was a $30 per month internet + mobile discount that we can't get anymore?

Now it's $10 plus another $20 if you get unlimited mobile data?

You'll have to check your location to get specifics but for me, yeah. Xfinity was really generous end of last year and beginning of this year with combo deals. Then they slowly started to change the deals for the worse.

I'm not sure if the above people read the fine print to make sure you don't need an unlimited mobile data line to get the full discount...or if that's just my area and some places still have the original, better deal.

Yeah, it's YMMV. I checked Houston who previously had good deals and they made the deals worse with requiring unlimited mobile data. But around Chicago, the deal is still really good as far as I can tell (although their promo terms says it expired over a week ago).

Checking in Philly area - I currently pay around $150 for their triple play, and 5 lines of mobile would be an additional $150 + tax. Sounds like not much of a deal in comparison to many other MVNOs, especially considering some of their past offerings. I have no idea how these people have such amazing deals like less than $100 for everything.
