Can I get this deal, port a number in, then switch the ported number with a current xfinity phone? Purpose is to get the pixel 6a and use the phone with my existing phone number.

Phone is locked to Xfinity for 24 months, but you can switch it with another physical Xfinity phone on your account. You must keep the ported in line open for 24 mos.

I got 4 of these phones plus 3 other phones I already had for a total of 7 lines on the 1gb shared plan. I will have to pay about $2.30/month (taxes/fees) for each additional phone I added.

When adding a new line onto an account, it is asking for the current number and carrier. Is this the number we are planning to port over? Or can we port the number over after the new line is added?

How did you manage up to 7 lines? The system won't let me go beyond 5 lines.

It may have to do with how long you have been with Xfinity. I have been with them since the very very beginning....I am allowed 10 lines.

Yes, you need to give them the number you will port into xfinity and the previous carrier. When the phone arrives and you start to activate it, you will also need the account number and the PIN for that number, from your previous carrier.

I doubt that's the case, been with them for more than 15 years and they only allow me to have 5 lines max. Maybe cuz I only have by the gig/shared. So I just do byod rinse and repeat. Will be my 3rd continuous round.
