This is a similar cooler for 20% less.
Buy it at a second hand store, I got one for $5. I haven't seen them that cheap in years. I don't really like them unless it's for a day. I kept my bigger, new one in the sun for a couple days.
50lbs in a roto or 50 lbs in this is still 50 lbs... only difference is weight od the cooler and in a 34 model, it's going to be just a handful of lbs...
Coleman around 8-9 lbs yeti 35 is 20 lbs. So around double, that is substantial. But some may not mind, the cheapos are way easier to lug around in my opinion.
Lol saying, "a handful of lbs" is like describing the volume of music as 'an earful of sound'
If they pick a lighter cooler, the overall weight is lighter. That's all they were saying

Also if they want to make me spend more to get free shipping, they can eat any wastefulness cause by their policy.
