For the price, this is a great deal on a capable machine

EDIT: just noticed that the 11300H is a 4 core CPU (thought it was 6 cores like my 11260H) so that's a bummer. Still a pretty good deal depending on use case for this laptop

This seems like one of the lower-tier options for a gaming laptop. It doesn't have very much storage so you'd have to get a 1 or 2 TB M.2 SSD 2242 PCIe 3.0x4 NVMe. That's like $150 or $250 because I only see one company that makes that 2242 size. As well, you'd probably want to get 16 GB (2x8) of ram for gaming and would want to get 2 matching ram sticks.

Agreed, getting it to usable specs, and you might as well get something better. Really liking my Acer Predator with 11800h (8 core), 16GB/512 and 3050ti for around $700 refurb (but basically new) when they have the 12% off and with 5% back buying with Discover through PayPal.

Yep, and the G15 with 3060 is currently $700, not $550 so I'm thinking this should get more love than it is.

Seems like a good price for a budget gaming laptop. Don't forget to check the cash back sites. One of them is currently offering 4% back for Best Buy… that will shave another $22 off the price.

Agreed. This is solid gaming laptop that will put up decent frame rates for $550, and is a good deal. If they had open box options in the $400's, it'd be a steal IMO
