Is anyone else suffering from extreme shoe buying this past month with so many deals from Nike and Adidas? It's getting ridiculous... I've got 8 pairs of shoes from these deals and likely more on the way and I don't even run.
Got my first pair of the original Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit back in Dec 2020, and started using it as my daily running / school shoes around April 2021. I have probably clocked close to a 1,000 miles in it, here are my thoughts:
1. When I first started running in these, it felt really wobbly, as if you might just accidentally fall to the left / right at any time and sprain your ankle. I was extremely careful! But a few months later, I started thinking such a design might be intentional, because the reduced contact area with the ground kinda gave it more bounce, but not so much to the extent of causing you to fall. So no worries.
2. The upper flyknit is extremely breathable! I live in a tropical, humid environment, and I run daily in these. Sometimes it might be raining or sometimes I might step into a water puddle. But the shoe dries up quickable and never smells!
3. The only weakness of the shoe is that the sole could have been slightly thicker. After the black pattern wears out, the white sole wears out quickly like a rubber eraser, and holes started appearing and I had no choice but to stop using these.

Overall recommendation: Good buy!
Don't say crap that you can't even support. That's the dumbest comment I've ever seen on SD and I've seen A LOT of dumb comments. This makes no sense whatsoever. Absorb too much with boost material. Hahahaha! Our bodies could use any help absorbing impact from walking/running. Get outta here with that bull.

So from that experience do you think you'd be better off with a half size smaller so that they feel tight at first and then loosen up after break in?
I'm an 11 in Nike overall (ie. Pegs, Jordan's) and these v2's are TTS - the flyknit they use has an engineered plastic coat vs the bare stretchy knit used on epic reacts (sz 11) or Nike Free Flyknits (sz 10.5) and it's a relatively snug fit with a bit of pressure on the big toe. If you size down, be prepared to ship it back.

oh good point. My current shoes are epic reacts and I did notice the Flyknit on the epic reacts feel different than these infinity reacts.

The more recent color styles seem to be a bit better in the tongue.

Ha yes but these are the best I've walked on. Not the react flyknit 1 and not the Zoomx. No Hoka or any other foam. The react flyknit 2 fits and cushion just right. Half / one size up is nice. I can walk for miles without blisters. Just ordered my 6th and 7th pairs! $60-70 per pair is awesome.

Do you know if you're able to return if the shoes have been worn out and about? Typical, I try and wear shoes around the house prior to wearing them outside to see if they're uncomfortable and need to be returned.
It's 60 day returns for any reason even if worn.

Anyone wear these as casual daily shoes? I usually wear ultraboost 4.0 with shorts and joggers.

I just wish they'd bring the zoom flyknit back. Felt great for my aching toes. This model just wasn't stiff enough for me, which means plenty of others will like it.
