Not for those who have a Target RedCard!
I bought $300 in Cricket back in March in same deal for 270 (b4 red card disc). Likely have to buy each $50 one at a time as only $5 is saved in a single trans.

Can we buy 6 different cards for $50($270) and bypass taxes and fees? Red card for additional 5% off of 270? Use for 300/year at&t prepaid? Sometimes 15% discount around black friday? These are the important questions

For the purposes of the AT&T $300 12 month plan, accounting for taxes, what is the better deal, the kroger prepaid gift cards or this target deal?

That's what I did last year (6 x $50) to renew each of our AT&T $300 annual subscriptions. No problem encountered. Although technically I believe these have a shorter expiration date than the higher value cards $100 and up (90 days vs. 365 days once added to your account), so there may be a risk if you add these to your account more than 90 days before your renewal.

I have used the AT&T prepaid cards in the past. They eliminate taxes on the prepaid plans. I have not yet tried it but does the same thing happen with T-Mobile Connect?

Anyone with experience on TM Connect, yet?

I've never had taxes added on my old grandfathered TMO plan. I think it's true across all carriers. It is an underappreciated benefit.

Bought this in April.Applied the $50 to my TM Connect account. Renews at the amount of my plan with no taxes.

Question on the expiration on these. The $50 card shows expiration as 1 year.

What is the 1 year calculated from? Purchase date or when applied to an account ?

I wish they would let you just get 10% off and buy $100 codes rather than like 4 prepaid cards of 50 for max discount.

You sure can, it's what I did. I'd activate a new number and use the cards to fund it during the activation then call the att porting department and have them port your number over top the temp one
