If the shopper had already started shopping and checking out before it was cancelled, they will still get a payment but If the shopping procedure has already begun and the customers cancel afterward, the customer can be required to pay a $15 fee for cancellation.
How can you "check out" if the order doesn't go through?
Well, at least they finally took the mispriced items out of their system. Hopefully, their shoppers will get a break now. I just hope that Instacart reimburses them.
I feel bad. The shopper got everything, order showed complete and checking out, and then immediately after got a cancellation and refund. So yeah, wasted the shopper's time. I hope Instacart still paid them.
I appreciate the OP's post, but I personally won't do one of these Instacart price mstk's again… seems like it's probably just screwing over the shopper and wasting my own time.
Yes, and the shopper was on with customer service trying to get it canceled because she couldn't move on without it being taken from her metrics. Hopefully it is addressed. Don't like that it completely wasted her time.
I ordered a ton of $2 stuff. The instacart shopper was texting me during shopping for a couple out of stock items and got as far as checking out. THEN they cancelled the order! I feel sorry for the shopper...
I regret to inform you that there has been a issue with the orders from Walgreens.
The stores are not accepting payment through shopper's card as there has been a mismatch
in the prices.
My order got cancelled and I asked to speak to a supervisor because they tried to refund my $180 order between 5-10 business days and I didn't want that.
The supervisor refunded between 24-48 hours and gave me a $15 credit and told him to give the $15 to the shopper who had to leave the whole order because they wouldn't honor it. I guess it's still a win for the shopper but not me :/ oh well
My shopper was able to check out with about 92 of my items (40%) of my order and it's still set to be delivered. I've only used instacart twice but no complaints. First time was a bunch of rubber mulch (no PM) and this was second time. Thanks OP!!

All too lazy to just call and cancel

Now I can add to my collection of scent boosters that I got for 9 cents each last time.
Thanks OP!
