Is the PSA1000 the one that leaks oil? I know they've updated where it holds oil better.

I don't know. I have the PSA1000 and it has leaked some oil when it rolled over to its side in storage. I also overfilled it, so that didn't help.

interesting - hadn't heard this - i have the 18" chainsaw - and it explicitly says to drain oil prior to long term storage. wonder if this is the same?

I'm not sure if this is the same pole saw or not, but here is one with the power head for $200. Seems like a good price to me since the head is $150-ish by itself.
