Sold and shipped by Amazon. Anyone compare them to the filters sold directly through the Coway shop? Amazon reviews have alot of complaints about a chemical smell.

I bought this filter from Amazon in February. I had the same concern, especially since at the time the "chemical smell" reviews were fairly recent. What changed my mind was one review that mentioned Coway had been informed of the issue and was working to remedy it. I decided to give it a shot and the one I received did not have the odor some folks were complaining about. I'll probably jump on this, as it a pretty good price. I have to change my filters a little more often due to 2 large dogs.

Ok the model name is different but according to amazon reviews this should also fit Coway Airmega 200M which is on frontpage now. I received mine couple days ago so it is nice to find a decent deal on amazon of a backup filter. Also accoring to camelcamel, the lowest this was $35 about a year ago and sells around $36 - $40. The filter I got on the machine was fine, no chemical odor complaint like a batch of products reported on amazon comments. Captain out.
