Was looking at this exact same question. You need a special bracket which is constantly out of stock on EVGA's website. The part number is M022-10-000178.

You can technically buy the Asetek-Based LGA 1700 Retention kit since that is who makes EVGA's CLC systems. Example can be found here [amazon.com] for around ~$14-15

Hope that helps others!

I'm in exactly the same spot. Why are these so cheap so often?

Fans are obnoxiously loud, and it's not gonna win any beauty pageants in the age of RGB (white on the pump is slightly off/dim when I briefly used it, compared to my other RGB components set to white). I would def factor in the cost of a couple new fans for this.

Just installed on a lga1700 board a few days ago. All necessary parts for intel and amd cpus are included. Idle cpu temp went from 44°C to 26°C. I think Amazon is matching bestbuy with this sale.

My guess is that it's being replaced with a newer version.

My guess is EVGA is getting ready for a refresh, new model. I own the 360 and 280 versions of these, I did use different fans, rbg, the 360 is keeping my 5950 nice and cool.

Also before everyone goes GungHo on that cooler system. Make sure your Case fits this 280mm Cooling system. Alot of cases do not support 280mm but only 240mm so double check that before you buy it and it wont fit.

In addition, even if the case supports 280 at the top, the thickness of radiator+fans might conflict with the motherboard. Had this issue with my Lancool 2 Mesh.
