That's a lot for no discrete graphics and half the RAM soldered. Or is there something special about this one?

Seems like the biggest difference between this BTO and the more expensive E15 AMD Gen4 configurations is the 45Wh battery, vs the 57Wh battery on the more expensive ones

It's relatively well built and has a great keyboard. Laptops with these specs aren't significantly cheaper anyway. That being said there's been better deals. The 5625U is basically just a 5600U. They didn't refresh the lineup with 6000 series.

This seems like a pretty solid deal to me actually. Having trouble getting BTS2022 code to work (EXTRATHINKJULY does though).

Any idea why?

Also I guess I can't reduce RAM/SSD at all to keep the deal since they are overpriced upgrades? (maybe not that bad with 40% fof though.)

Any idea how much chunkier or worse this E series is compared to the L series?

Ah just noticed that. 45Wh is kind of a bummer, though I guess this machine would mostly stay at home for my mom.

I got mine today and, unfortunately, it's going to be refunded. They assembled it with the lower quality 250nit screen, even though my order specifically says the 300nit screen. Had to go into Device Manager to get the screen model, but it was noticeable how low brightness and lack of sharpness and viewing angles this screen had despite what the reviews said about the 300nit screen.

It's a shame because the overall build quality of the laptop is nice. Makes me wonder if other people got screwed over this because it's not trivial how you can find the display model.
