It is junk "science" to claim that "the good stuff" is good for you. Especially the fluoride. Most people base water on taste, not lab testing.
you can request you water provider with a report . . . now, if you trust them or not - that is a different topic.

Or in chicago (which is who this is for) where it was illegal to install non-leaded service pipes up until the federal ban in '86 so much of the city, even wealthy areas, still have leaded pipes somewhere (either from street to sidewalk and/or sidewalk to home.)
if lead is the problem in your area RO is probably a better answer to that than zerowater filter

The original one on FP said Canada, but the main headline said US only. The Canada part was a typo. This new coupon posted in this thread says US in both places.

I'm curious if people are having luck getting this at walmart, would rather shop there.
I'd rather shop at Walmart... said no one ever.

That is why other filters do not remove everything, but instead target bad stuff.

Unless you are in the low income residence, next to a refinery or in a very old neighborhood you probably do not need to do anything to your water. It's good however to have something like ZeroWater in case of emergency. But I would not recommend folks just drinking Zero water unless they are supplementing all the good stuff that is filtered out.
Water tastes like garbage in my neighborhood.

Target said the coupon didn't work because the pitcher was on clearance. What lies! It's on sale not clearance.

Anyone know if you can use Kirkland water filters in these?
Not a chance. The whole point is to lure you in and bleed you dry with expensive filters.

Everything I've seen is don't bother with any of these. You're purely stripping valuable minerals from your body.
At the least just know they both target different items.
That is regurgitated junk science that you're preaching because if you actually researched the real amounts of the "good stuff" you'd realize that it is such a tiny insignificant amount that you'd literally get more "valuable minerals" from eating a single bite of enriched bread than you'd get from drinking an entire gallon of tap water. Therefore as long as you are eating anything close to a somewhat healthy diet you'll never see a quantfiable difference in the tiny amount of minerals you're missing in your water, but you'll see a measureable difference in the lack of all the bad things this filter is filtering out such as lead and all the other harmful particles and chemicals.

I have a whole house lead filter, RO at the kitchen sink and nsfwhatever filters for the fridge, but these coupons are meant as a way for residents to get clean water at a cheap price and they do the job for a low entry.

LOL that's like asking the police to investgate themselves for wrong doing. In the history of police none have ever found any wrong doing in their own department by any of their officers haha! Do you really think your water provider is going to tell you the truth that the water they provide is between medeocre and terrible (depending on the city you live in) and has dangerous levels of harmful/toxic/carcinogenic chemicals and heavy metals in it?

There's no coupon. Must not be for the USA. Can the post post be edited for Canada only?
