BEWARE. Rtings says 75inch version has an IPS panel and not VA.

Normally BF does not have good sales on quality sets. Typically sub-par sets selling for crazy low prices. Best deals on decent mid level to high end stuff is after super bowl through mid summer, which is when inventory starts to dwindle, getting rid of previous years model, making room for current.

There are two versions of the tv. The only way to know is the wattage. I think the one that uses more power is the VA panel. I cant recall all the numbers. I had a review up on my phone forever from someone who bought both versions without realizing it. He reported everything after figuring out why one looked better than the other. I don't have the article up anymore because I decided not to buy this TV. It's been $799 in my local Best Buy for the last year. It only recently increased to $1099.

Yeah, they used to price adjust but those days are long gone. Only way to remedy that is return/rebuy but they get mad when you try to do that. But for some reason people love Amazon around here. I'll always purchase from best buy if I have the option or anywhere else really.

Does Amazon charge for shipping for returns? I'm a prime member and recently I tried to return a desk and they wanted $35 for shipping via UPS.

What a crap policy...though Best Buy has changed theirs as well if an item is on clearance and goes down further in price

Price matching is also not what it used to be. Case in point, BB had their own TCL models for the R615/617 and P605/607. That way you couldn't price match anywhere because BB was the only place that had the X15 models. Costco does something similar as well.

This set is universal however.

Yeah but most vendors like best buy or Costco will price adjust if their own price drops shorty after purchasing. You can call or chat. The differ t model numbers is nothing new though. That's been around 20 years or so. It's so one vendor doesn't have to match the prices of another vendor.

In those cases you still can return/rebuy though. That's not even really an option with Amazon.

Well...Best Buy has changed their return policy to 15 days unless you pay the $199 a year membership
So yes you can return and rebuy but it needs to be in 15 days or less bought date unless you are part of the $199 a year membership program

They threw out all the Elite ( 30 days returns) and Elite Plus( 45 days returns) tiers based on annual spend a few months ago

Here is their policy...if you are getting price match from other retailers I would say you are lucky

I mean other way around. You trying to price match Costco from Best Buy for example.

I know in most cases BB won't honor PM from Costco due to them being a members only retailer but I've seen it happen a few times from other people's anecdotes.
