    I've personally had a great experience with JVC. My TCL 55" 4 Series (2016/2017) died so I swapped back to my 55" Emerald Series JVC; despite being an older 1080p the color and brightness are better than the TCL was and it's still alive. It survived in Hawaii as well as the trip back stateside. No issues after over 6-7 years of use.

    A note for budget TV shoppers: 3 Parts failed in the TCL, the tcon board, the LEDs, and and the wifi (not that you need it), pre 2020 4 series are VERY cheap builds. Also get the best warranty you can without breaking the bank, it's worth it regardless of brand.
