Actual retail value of the items will be far below what you pay, even at half price. Don't buy it for the value of the snacks, buy it for the amusement factor.
I bought this subscription as a gift (3 months? 6? can't remember) and the person enjoyed it...but the novelty factor had diminishing value as the months went on. and $50/mo for $10 worth of snacks & trinkets is hard to justify
