Currently the site is buggy; it's not adding both bonus items (GC + warranty) automatically in cart. It's giving you the option to add them manually, but if you add one, the other disappears. To workaround this, add tv to cart, select one bonus item. Then add another tv to cart and select the other bonus item. Then remove one of the tvs.

it's fixed now

Maybe you can even consider the Sony 65' x90j which is last year's model and wherever stock is still available at Costco is listed at $899 in store.

How is this one compared to a 65 LG C1?

I think these will be sub $1k by the end of the year, not as many people buying TVs this year vs previous year.

No comparison at all. OLED is leaps and bounds better than an LED. If you're spending over a grand on a TV, get an OLED.
OLED is not for everyone. Beware of one size fits all advice…

OLED is awesome in a lot of ways but still has some cons. Burn-in is still a valid concern for some use cases, like HTPC, gaming, locking it in on one news channel, etc. OLED also doesn't get as bright as QLED so it's not as good in really bright rooms.

This is a deals forum so it's also worth mentioning OLED generally costs more for the size.

Original retail is $1499, not $1999.

Same price at Sony, but no $100 GC or extended warranty.

I've had OLEDs since 2015. NONE of them have burn in. I game and watch movies daily. Have upgraded some models since then. All are performing great. You can get a 65"C1 for around $1300 right now. My living room is bright and my CX OLED looks and performs just fine. Likez it has direct sunlight and it's still bright and beautiful. Stop spreading false narratives based on other people's comments who probably don't even own an OLED anyway.

I bought an OLED in 2016, and I thought the same as you. No burn in or other issues. I thought people complaining about burn in didn't have an OLED TV and were making a big deal about something that wouldn't happen.

Then I bought another in 2018 because I loved the first one so much. Started out great for about a year, then horrible burn in started to set in, and you can see bands across the screen.

I'm sure the odds of me getting another OLED that burns in like this is slim, but I don't ever want to experience the feeling of having to throw out a $2K-$3K again. It was awful.

It still might be worth the risk because my first set looks as good as it did on day 1. But I do think people should take burn in into consideration. It may not happen to everyone, but it happened to me, and I will not buy another one again without some sort of warranty/insurance to cover it.

Would recommend the x90j. There is a lot of value for the price there.

I actually got a c1 originally and was not a fan. Returned it and am very happy I did.

Some people love OLED some don't it's a matter of personal preference.

Burn in and banding on a TV are two different issues.
