Thanks for posting, I've been waiting for these to come back in stock!
Because Brother home printers are workhorses. All the Brother printers I've ever owned have been super reliable and work for years and years. All the other brand printers I've owned (e.g., Lexmark, Canon) crapped out, were intermittently unreliable, or needed frequent attention.

one color
It's old, but came with 100% life toner (11k pages) and a full catridge (like 3k pages). There were a couple of similar units available as well (some were even better), but only this one came with full toner and catridge, so that I don't have to spend any extra money to get it start printing.
I would say if you really want ultra saving, you can try these thrift stores or local delas as well.

Brother HL-L2390DW Monochrome Laser Printer All-In-One with Print-Scan-Copy, Wireless, and USB model.
If anyone from tristate area is interested in, lmk 👍
