Own 2 of these. Can't say enough good things about them. This price is a no brainer. I'd buy in a heartbeat if the ones I already own were wearing out despite the beatings I've put them through.

Is the yellow coated side suppose to prevent scratches on the wall?

No. That's just matching the Stanley color scheme. Use a shim , a piece of trim, etc...

what's this for? breaking out of basements?
Most people use it for re-hanging doors, pulling trim, closing the gap when hanging sheetrock, demolition.

These are great except when you sharpen one and drop it on your leg, slicing it open.

Hands down better than the similar ones sold at HF and other stores.

Also if you're in the market for a real demo tool, their FuBar 3 (FatMax Extreme) is a hell of demo tool. Up there with a burke bar, and a little more versatile.

You need one for your bug out bag. Useful on doors and windows.

purchased for 4.32 total. can pry the wife when she gets stuck in the doors.
Wife deserves a gentler approach, such using butter or oil. This is more appropriate for the mother in law.
