The 1TB has gone down to $80. Better choice than all those dram-less SSDSs with weak controllers and questionable warranty practices and premature deaths just to save a few bucks.

Lowest price according to the CCC, plus this drive actually has DRAM cache, as noted above.

Not sure but it's not m.2. This is a 2.5" SATA drive.

If anybody is in the market for a budget 2TB m.2 drive, Gamestop and B&H have the PNY CS2130 for $140.

I believe this one is a QLC drive. The one listed in OP is TLC.

Almost pulled the trigger. Great price but waiting on the 4TB deals to pull the trigger for PS4 Pro. SSD prices are coming down to the sweet spot.

I remember paying ~$215 for a 512GB MX100 in 2014 and thinking I was a real baller.

Sure am happy to see prices moving again in the Dram'd SSD world. Seems like all the deals had been dramless no-names for quite awhile.

The price of 'street cred'. Just as long as you didn't get the 'tattoo', you're doing OK.

Heh. I bought 8TB of SSD for my main machine in April/May '21 for about $750 total, 2TB+2TB NVMe and 4TB SATA - obviously prices are down but I'm doing OK.

I was considering this 2TB for a media drive on an upcoming build, but you can get a 4TB WD Blue spinner for $65 (its SMR and I don't care).

I paid $600 for a 256GB Crucial C300 drive back in 2010. Yikes! It didn't even saturate the SATA 3 interface, but man was it fast for its time!

Glad I didn't get the 1TBs that were all over this week
