FYI those batteries are not HP like the one in the OP.

Slowly but surely I am learning Ryobi's confusing selection of batteries and chargers.

Thanks! I'll save everyone else the pain of watching that video-yes, it blows more air and an extra setting very low which quieter. Noise on the other 2 speeds are pretty comparable. My speculation is that less rpm's on high should make the battery last longer too. Seems like a good upgrade!

I have this Ryobi fan mr and I have to say it works extremely well I used it last week in Oregon when temperatures were in the hundreds and I used it in the backyard cooling us off as well as the dogs the dogs loved it. Have used it a few times on top of a bucket but mostly like in the backyard you can just plug it into the hose

Bought this or the older model a few years ago. The deal came with 2 batteries. As mentioned you can use any 3 prong plug. I don't know exactly how long one charge lasts but it still works for several hours. Great because it's portable and easy to road trip with (I do a lot of college football road trips) or if you have a smoker and spending hours grilling.

I don't have either one. I have one Milwaukee tool with a couple of batteries and several Dewalt with multiple batteries and now Ego, but for a misting fan that could cool down my back deck I would get one and find a place for one more battery charger 😁😊

Good deal OP! I have the baby brother (personal size) with the clip and am trying to resist this one. I am probably going to fail at that task, this seems like it would be nice outside for one or 2 people to keep the bugs away and stay cool.
(Should have bought that misting fan on the previous DTO deal but that's another story)
