I have these shoes and they are good quality. However, the rubber bottom is super slippery. If it rains I have to be very careful even on concrete. My other Asics are not like that. It's just this model. That's the only reason I'm not getting another pair. Just an FYI. If you live in a semi wet climate be prepared to look like you are walking on ice all the time, even during summer.

Does anyone know if Asics generally run smaller than other brands? Or does it vary between shoes within the Asics lineup. I've only bought one pair (360 Gel Quantum) and they had a smaller fit than the other brands I've had. Looking to get another pair now for the wife and myself, but not sure what size to get.

I think they do, for comparison: i use 8.5 for Asics (had nimbus and cumulus) and 8.5 for Nike and UA as well, but i found out recently i am 8 or even 7.5 for Adidas...and i keep reading Adidas model are considered "true to size"...

I always go up 1/2 size, you may want to try the wide size as well.

YMMV but you can check out Local Academy store, sometimes you can find great prices ON ASICS etc. I got Excite 7 for $25 two years ago and for the same price last year. Now that, Excite 9 is out, you may find the 8 on sale.

Can anyone tell me why, starting today, any of the deals I'm clicking on are going directly to the webpage with the deal and then there is some sidebar with this SD page with the actual comments? I just added the SD extension. Is that what is making it do that? because ill just get rid of it. Its annoying and there is a TV deal I cant even open to read the comments because it goes straight to the LG page from SD without any sidebar or way to read the comments.
